"SIR STEVIE IS UNBELIEVABLY GOOD!!!...I was just floored when I sampled, downloaded and listened to Sir Stevie. Alex Nester has composed and sung this amazing, complex, head-spinning symphony from 12 or more (I lost count) of Stevie Wonder's greatest. Her voice is pure, and her ultra-high energy interpretations are both true to the originals and yet remain all her own. The musicians and arrangements are tight, funky, and always driving. Somewhere in there is also an all-original interlude - a vocal chorus trading fours with a burning jazz trumpet - that is a great piece of music all by itself. The Grand Finale is a tight vocal chorus (could it be all Alex' voice?) that changes key every four bars, with some tasty vocal ad-libs added. Is it R&B? Is it funk? Is it jazz? Who cares, I'm gonna download the whole album and put my ears on. Alex, where have you been hiding?"
